Painting Loose

Secrets of Painting Loose Workshop Details
From 02/08/2010 to 02/11/2010

Eric Wiegardt

About this Workshop:
After 20 years of conducting watercolor workshops and teaching over 3,000 students, Eric has discovered there is a real need for loosening up. Eric addresses this challenge by presenting one design or technique concept each day, all with the end goal of achieving a bold, loose watercolor in one sitting. Since Eric believes most painting problems stem from not understanding elementary painting principles, the concepts emphasized will be easily understood by all levels of ability. Beginners are welcome. A casual atmosphere of diligent learning is encouraged. In general, the class is structured with Eric doing a demonstration in the morning and being available in the afternoon to critique the student’s work in progress. A variety of subjects will be painted which may include landscape, marinescapes, florals, streetscapes and still life. Materials list and guide to lodging will be furnished upon receiving deposit.
